The normal comics ensue once again. Thanks to everyone who sent me strips – it’s always interesting to see different people’s takes on my characters.
Speaking of which, I just got back from Metrocon yesterday. As you may have seen on my Twitter or Facebook pages, I encountered three of the most amazing cosplayers there.
They’re actually three friends of mine who are not only Beeserker fans, but also totally caught me by surprise, which is why I’m wearing that Sniper costume instead of my striped shirt and gray hat. I think it worked better that way, though; when I first saw them, I was damn near speechless for a minute, and my face was about as red as that shirt (though the Tampa weather may have had something to do with that part). Easily one of the most awesomely surreal things to ever happen to me.
as I’ve said on facebook, that trigona looks almost as cute as the real one.
The attention to detail is just the best! (Sciencemen are as uncanny in real life as in the comic)
Hah yeah, I love how their mouths are gaping in a constant, slack-jawed shout. They’ve really nailed that aspect of the character.
They should have brought a cat…a green cat… with no back legs and is merely an amusingly shaped cat like figure with the most intriguing facial expressions… Such cats are all over my backyard. The costumes are wonderful. though I feel as though if the sciencemen men keep it up they might accidentally swallow a bee…or a cat…
Luckily, they stopped short of bringing a whole bunch of bees into the convention center.
Cosplay with missing elements? A large influx of bees oughta put a stop to that!
Doctor beeeeeeeeesssss!
that is, like, my dream
are they actually naked?
Of course not, they’re wearing those coats and masks.
(and white full-body suits)
I would rob a bank in a scienceman costume. It would terrify everyone.
Don’t forget the tie and balaclava! http://www.beeserker.com/comics/payback/
