Back when I was a kid, one of my favorite things about video games was the instruction manual/strategy guide. Something about the combination of relatively detailed illustrations and informative charts really resonated with me. Hence today’s strip, which offers some actual advice for my recent game Scienceman Twins – if you haven’t been keeping track, in that game, you can actually hop inside of Beeserker and ride it around like some kind of raccoon-trampling mech. One of these days, I really want to make a full instruction manual for either Scienceman Twins or one of Sugar Rockets‘ upcoming games.
That’s right, we have a few more games coming down the pipeline – ain’t no rest for the sweet.
Anyway, the reason for this filler strip is because I’m at Otakon this weekend, and I already did two guest weeks in the last month. I’d say try and find me if you’re there, but if I learned anything about Otakon in the last few years, it’s that even if you know that people you know are going to be there, it’s so big that you will NEVER find them.
You’re inside of a suit that’s full of bees?
GENIUS
I love instruction books like that!!!!! nintendo had the best.
whaat you can ride in beeserker? i just died when i touched him.. time to play again!
Yeah, if your bee gauge is at least 70% full (it’ll blink), stand in front of a dormant Beeserker and press up. It won’t work if someone already hit it with a wrench, though.
Doesn’t it scar beeserker seeing other empty shells of him laying around?
