For the record, it IS supposed to be a collarbone, but last week I saw the other thing and now I can’t unsee it.
edit: I just realized that if the latter was true, then that would make Trigona’s design especially disturbing.

reminds me of that Venture Bros episode when 21 had a pencil-thin beard and someone was like ‘that’s not a substitute for a jawline’
but apparently it was too subtle for the animators because half the time it clearly WAS just a normal jaw line
