As if I wasn’t already busy enough getting ready for ConnectiCon this weekend (check us out at the online media guest hall), I also announced Sugar Rockets‘ newest game this week. It’s a two player game called Scienceman Twins. The Sciencemen must navigate their lab, which is now really tall for some reason, and avoid raccoons, robots, and the ever-popular Bootsie (that’s right, he’s in an actual game now).
This science tower is full of surprises, including a bunch of special guest twins from other Hiveworks comics! Visit my Scienceman Twins blog for all the latest updates, and be sure to play the game when it comes out later this month.
On Thursday, Guest Week III Part I starts. If you want to be part of Guest Week III Part II later this month, there’s still time.
Damn son! I can’t wait for this new game! Also my guest comic sucks.
But bootsie doesn’t move. Does he?
Nobody sees Bootsie move, so it’s hard to prove that one way or the other.
We have to avoid bootsie, so I’m just making sure he doesn’t move in the game.
I just have one question… Will all guest twins be Hiveworks? Because one of my personal favourite webcomics, Charby the Vampirate, has a pair of twins in it, and I think it would be incredibly cool if that crossover happened.
I really hope Scienceman Twins is easier than the original Beeserker game. I still haven’t cleared the second level of that one. :[
It’s like comparing apples and oranges – Scienceman Twins has checkpoints, but also finite lives. Plus, the game keeps going until you run out of said lives; once you reach the “end” of the lab, it loops back with faster scrolling, more enemies, etc…
That being said, there may be some unlockables that are fiendishly hard to obtain.
woooo I can’t wait!
yeah I’m with Ascension, that game was punishingly hard.. it needed checkpoints.
Psst – the link to sciencemantwins is missing the .beeserker domain.
